1945 Conn 10M, #312K.  Refinished Long Ago, Great Player

Newly completed Just Saxes overhaul, with resonators 1-click smaller than absolute max-sized. Set-up is my favorite for Conn Chu and 10M tenors, playing condition is optimal.

Sound sample in Youtube clip is the actual horn, played by me. During better times, I can sometimes get good players to demo horns. During Covid, it’s just me. I’m not a good player, but this is actually better for showing what condition the horn is in, and how it plays, IMO. With a better player, you hear the player more than the horn. Here, you hear the horn and try to tune out the player (lol). The main goal was to show how the horn responds to different input, and how well the horn itself is playing (very well).

Sold – thank you, RK!

Early Conn “Wonder” Tenor

Serial #59,XXX / Vintage Case Included

Price TBA after overhaul

Straight tone holes, low pitch, serial #59,xxx. Probably originally released in bare brass or silver plate, now lacquered. Engraving possibly recut, very sharp. Neck is Conn, but not original. This one is a bit of a Frankenstein, but cosmetically is in very nice shape, and is getting full Just Saxes overhaul (underway now). It should be an excellent player, and a real bargain at the price, when completed.

More Info and Photos coming soon
